This small 1’ tall sprawling (3-4’ long) shrub is an eye catcher when in bloom. It remains evergreen and makes a great ground cover in shady spaces. It’s beautiful white flowers brighten any understory. It prefers lime rock or sand but can tolerate loam. It is moderately tolerant of salt spray.
Wild plumbago is the larval host plant for the Cassius Blue butterfly.
