This plant is a great choice for attracting butterflies and bees with the nectar and pollen it produces. Helps to support the Monarch butterfly larvae and provides food and shelter for other pollinators. Although, it is not a monarch's first choice of milkweed, they will still eat it down to a slender stalk. This is the perfect host plant for garden edges or in pollinator planters. It is also said to have medicinal and culinary uses.
Our milkweed is guaranteed pesticide free milkweed. They will most likely come with aphids and caterpillars but that’s why we do what we do! It’s grown to support our wildlife.
