Veggie Garden Care
We know that Florida is unique with two vegetable growing seasons. It can be a challenge for even the most experienced gardener, which is why we make it our mission to stay up to date on the latest research from the University of Florida. Also, we implement permaculture, regenerative, sustainable, and organic practices to help ensure better harvests , less pest pressures and a overall healthier ecosystems.

One of our favorite gardening methods is by following the Square Foot Method, incorporating companion planting and trap crops. We can help you plan out your next garden, give suggestions and troubleshoot issues. We also offer onsite planning starting at $25 for a half hour visit.

Got Pots?
We are proud to offer a Nursery Pot Recycling Program.
To help our community reduce their environmental footprint we encourage you to return your nursery pots to our location OR before purchasing new nursery pots, please come by and help yourself to the pots that have been donated. Come by anytime to swap out pots. You will see a nursery pot collection bin when you enter our location.

Best practices: Sanitize used nursery pots before reusing to prevent the spread of virus', fungus and bacteria which can lead to disease. We recommend placing used nursery pots in a diluted bleach bath for 2-5 minutes followed by a rinse. Allow pots to air dry.

Got Seeds?
Did your plants produce seed pods? Don't want them to spread? We will take any unwanted seeds and share them with the community.

At our nursery we have a seed swap bin that we encourage you to take full advantage of. Bring some seeds or take some seeds. What better way to build our garden community? The bin is located on the screened in porch. When bringing seeds we ask you to place them in an envelope with as much information you have.
